FOX Factory Race Series 2.5 Internal Bypass shocks for the Toyota Tacoma deliver race-proven, velocity- and position-sensitive damping in a true bolt-on package, built for high-speed off-road performance and on-road comfort.
Patented Internal Bypass technology creates multiple zones of damping control for a smooth, controlled ride in the “ride zone,” with progressively increased damping to prevent harsh bottom-outs and top-outs when the terrain gets rough. In the ride zone, shock fluid bypasses the main piston through bleed ports for comfort and control. As the shock moves past this zone in compression or rebound, the bleed ports close and force fluid through the main piston, dramatically increasing damping to keep you in control.
Durable 2.5" aluminum bodies receive a Type III hard anodized finish to resist corrosion and wear. The Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjuster lets you fine-tune your Tacoma for load, terrain, and driving style. External reservoirs boost oil capacity and use an internal floating piston (IFP) to separate oil and nitrogen, keeping damping consistent and temperatures in check under hard use.
