Turn your Gladiator into a confident daily-overlander with real trail clearance while keeping tow/payload manners in check.
-
Level/Spacer (1–2")
Budget-friendly stance to remove rake and sharpen approach angle. Near-stock ride; fits many 33–34" tire setups on proper backspacing. -
Mid Lift (2–3.5") — Most Popular
Model-specific coils, tuned shocks, adjustable front track bar, and front lower control arms to restore caster (target ~6–7°). Add bump-stop and sway-link extensions. Clears 35s easily; 37s with correct wheels and minor trimming. Excellent balance for beach runs, backroads, and weekend camping. -
Advanced/Overland (3.5–4.5"+)
Full adjustable arm sets or long-arm options, front & rear track bars, drag-link flip/high-steer, brake-line extensions, and driveshaft considerations for big travel. Setup for 37–40" tires with proper gearing and axle prep.
JT-Specific Notes
-
Rubicon higher fenders = larger tires at less lift.
-
Mojave uses unique FOX internal-bypass shocks & hydraulic jounce bumpers—use Mojave-specific kits to retain performance.
-
Long wheelbase benefits from precise bump-stop tuning and rear track-bar correction to keep it composed with a load.
-
Gearing: 35s+ often feel best with 4.56–4.88 (use case dependent).
