Wake up your 4Runner’s stance and trail manners with proven, daily-driveable options for SR5, TRD Off-Road/Pro, Limited, and KDSS models:

• Leveling (≈2–2.5")
  Front spacers or entry coilovers to remove rake and sharpen approach angle. Pairs well with stock rear springs or a modest rear spacer. Great for commuters who want a tougher look.

• Mid Lift (2–3") — Most Popular
  Tuned front coilovers, HD/adjustable upper control arms (to restore caster), and matching rear coils + shocks for balanced height and payload. Big improvement in ride control and travel; ideal for overlanding setups with light armor/roof racks.

• Adventure/Overland (2.5–3"+, weight-matched)
  Heavier-rate rear springs for bumpers, drawers, RTTs; long-travel shock options, progressive bump stops, and panhard correction to re-center the axle. Add sway-bar relocation/KDSS spacers as needed.

Fitment & Notes

• Common tire upsizes: 285/70R17 with proper offset; 295/70R17 possible with more trimming.

• KDSS & Limited (XREAS): use compatible kits and brackets; XREAS deletes often pair best with full suspension upgrades.

• Alignment is critical—target +3.5° to +4.5° caster to keep it tracking straight on 33s.
