Add stance and trail clearance without giving up tow/haul confidence.
-
Leveling (≈2–2.5")
Front coil spring/coil spacer with matched shocks and track-bar correction to keep steering tight. Levels factory rake, improves approach angle, and commonly fits 35s with proper wheel offset. Optional dual steering stabilizer for highway manners. -
Mid Lift (3–4") — Work/Play Sweet Spot
Replacement coils, radius-arm drops or adjustable arms, track-bar bracket, brake line/sway links, and tuned shocks. Balanced height for daily duty, job sites, and weekend trails. Clears 37s on the right wheels; retains solid towing dynamics. -
Full Lift (5–6"+)
Complete geometry package: coils, radius-arm/4-link options, track-bar/drag-link correction, carrier-bearing drop (as needed), and long-travel shocks. Maximum clearance and articulation; 38–40" tires possible with proper offset and minor trimming.
Super Duty Notes
-
4WD driveline: keep caster/CV/ujoint angles in spec; torque track-bar hardware correctly to avoid shimmy.
-
Tremor/FX4: use kit variants that preserve factory ride height bias and shock tuning.
-
Tow/Load: add-a-leafs, helper springs, or air systems available to maintain rake under payload.
-
ADAS/Lighting: align after lift; re-aim headlights and plan for camera/radar calibration on newer trucks.
Fitment Tips
-
Common upsizes: 35s (level), 37s (3–4"), 38–40s (5–6"+) with the right wheel specs.
